AE 7 Pleasantville effect Instructions needed
i have looked high and low and i am still not getting it i am looking for exact (or close to it As possible) how to create the black and white effect in the show pleasantville you know how they wouls drop in a little color in the the sequence ie… Lips,fingernails,grass,eyes ect… i purchased AE 7 adobe told me i didnt need anything eles to do the effect (plug-in’s) AE 7 would do it but that’s where they stopped helping me on exactly how to do the effect– a good friend told me the great minds of Creative cow would be able to help me in this matter

Hello,
You can create this effect by creating a mask using an adjustment layer then de-sature so it’s black and white.
You can then use coloured solids to add colour to certain elements.

is there some where i can get a small demo of it being done — see i have too be honest with you i have had less than 1 month experiaence with Ae and reading it, simple put dont do it, i need to see it done. i bought Ae 6.5 how guru tutorial dvd’ss and it doesnt show it but talks about it a little.
