AE 7 on a Dell Laptop
I have tried to load AE 7 on a Dell Latitude D810 running Windows XP Professional (service pack 2), 2 ghz Pentium M chip, 1 gig ram. When I clicked install, I received a “Runtime Error!” message and it quit the install.
Has anyone tried this on a laptop and is there a work around?

Try copying the installer files from the install disc to the hard drive. It could be a problem reading the disc.
