AE 7 Mac–Icons are incorrect
I’m working through the Total Training AE 7 Essentials videos and I’ve noticed that the icons for my footage in the training project files are frequently incorrect. I have a folder of a dozen .ai files and they all have iTunes icons. Sometimes the icons for PS files show up as Illustrator icons and vice versa. The files are working fine, I have no problems with them, but I’m wondering if my preferences are corrupt or if this is a bug in the program.

I trashed my AE 7 preferences and repaired permissions and the icons are showing up correctly now.

My icons have messed up again, just about all of them are incorrect. Could this be a problem with the Total Training AE 7 project files? Anyone else experience this?

Thank you for responding. When things like this happen I tend to think there is something wrong with my system. Is this a general problem that happens all the time in AE 7, or is it just with the project files in the Total Training videos?
