I have a 720×576 widescreen comp, the client needs a hi-res version for printing. Before I embark on trying to remake it in Photoshop, is there a way I can tweak some settings in the render settings of AE to get what I need? Or is it a case of remake in one of AE or PS?

    Thanks

For the most part you will have to rebuild everything. I’d only scale up things that are based on masks and effects that can be easily brought up to larger sizes without changing the overall look (e.g. adjusting stroke width on the Stroke effect) and export this at the larger size as a template.

Thanks, it looks like I will rebuild in PS, even though I will have to try and reproduce Roughen Edges. For some reason the vector artwork looks blocky in AE even though I have checked all the relevant switches. I thought it might be the camera so I dumped that and unchecked 3D; still crappy. It’s a big image, 2598×1866 (roughly A5), could it be that?

    Thanks again guys.
