I have rendered out a motion graphics clip in hdtv size from after effects 6.5. I imported it into Final Cut in an HDV project and am noticing a very distracting flicker on the image when i preview it on my plasma. My frame rate is the same for the project and rendered comp. I am downsizing the file from the hdtv 1920/1080 to hdv 1440/1080, could that cause it? It’s most noticable in the whites. Any ideas?

HD is upper field first. You can tell AE to render your HD comp using upper field see if that takes care of it.
HD 1920×1080 uses square pixels. HDV is 1440×1080 using 1.33 pixel aspect…which stretches out to 1920×1080 square pixel.
