  AE 6 Pro installation issue

  I just tried to reinstall my After Effects 6 Pro on my machine. I used the original disc but when I launch the installer it opens using one of my segmenting programs, MacHacha. The installer says it’s an application so why would it be opening another app? Any ideas on how to fix it? I just need to do a little project and this is frustrating.

  My system, btw, is ancient. I’m installing it on a G4 500DP running OSX 10.4.11 which is where I’ve always used it.

  Any ideas would be much appreciated.
