AE 5.5 information panels stop appearing
I’ve encountered a strange behavior with 5.5(up to date according to Adobe) running on MacPro 10.6.6. After having the program launched for a period of time (over 30 minutes) all info panels that might pop up indicating an error in an expression, missing footage, a missing font or effect, even basic “about” info for an effect, just stops functioning. Quitting AE and re starting restores this function, but only for a period of time. Its not the end of the world, but it can be frustrating. Anyone else encounter this?

No, but you could try to trash the preferences file. That fixes a lot of oddball problems with AE.

Yeah. Tried that. No change. Seems like it has to be something else as the state changes after the app has been running for awhile.
