Advice with using Chroma Keyer/ or green screen effect.
Okay the thing I am trying to do is :
Film my Titanic model with a picture background of stars.
I film the model in front of various colors, Light green, Pink, Blue.
Every time I go in the program and add in the effects, it is horrible.
The ship becomes cartoonish looking and sketchy like, it’s grainy, some parts of the ship aren’t there.
What I am trying to do is, take the footage of my ship from the video, with changing anything of the SHIP and have it in front of a background with stars, instead of the background of the original footage, being in front of a colored wall.
Any help?

Why are you filming in front of so many colors, just
film it in front of a solid green backdrop and drop
the (pure green screen) chroma key filter on it and
with a little tweak you should be good.Steve Rhoden

I’m not filming it in front of different colors at once.
I did them back to back, I experimented with each color as a main backdrop for each video to see which color worked best for me -
You want to use a bright green and plenty of light. Make sure that the ship isn’t too close to the screen so that you don’t get shadows. Even better if you light the screen with a different set of lights than the ship.
