April 9, 2010 at 11:18 pmWhat is final delivery format? It is possible that you could render each “reel” (the new sections) as its own clip and then bring each of those into one new project.

April 10, 2010 at 12:40 amFinal delivery will be the best looking web video possible. I shot it HD.
Would I Lose a lot of resoloution? My boss may also want to show it on our HD tv.
What would be the best way to render it out?

April 10, 2010 at 12:48 amYou shouldn’t lose any resolution for your final delivery as long as you don’t render below HD number of pixels. If you’re worried about losing resolution, you should also make sure that you use a loss-less format when you render the reels to their own clips so you’re not compressing the footage twice.
I haven’t educated myself much with After Effects, but for your next project compiling individual shots for stop motion, that might be a better tool. Someone with more AE knowledge could probably verify if this is true or not.

April 11, 2010 at 6:54 pmDo you have any advice when it comes to exporting in a loss-less format?
The original footage was shot in AVCHD 720p, then I used Media encoder to kick out Tiffs at full resolution. Each reel is huge in size but will only only export out at about 1 minute each because the still were sped up in order to create a time lapse video. Is this still going to take forever to render and export out?
Iv been trying to study up on exporting, but I am still green on it.
Any help?
