I have ID CS6 and have never used the program. I am decent at photoshop and I edit in Final Cut Pro, so I have some graphics training.

I have written an ebook and have had it published. I want to print a paperback ASAP. I have been trying to format it in Word 2011 and don’t like the way the margins look and I don’t like the way the page numbers lay out.

Can I use ID with little effort to format a book and save it as a .pdf for printing or would this be too much for a beginner. I am looking at bids for typesetting, but if I can do it myself and get it right, I may go ahead and do the work my self.

    Advice would be greatful!
