June 12, 2020 at 3:03 amHi guys,
I’m a music producer and I just got a house. I paid without checking it out. I like on the top floor and there’s a factory close to me that have a big fridge that’s always on. The sound comes in 24/7, from the room, wall, windows.I don’t wanna stay here more than a year and I wanted to buy a mobile sound booth. But from what I’m seeing, it won’t work.
Ps I need help. I’m low on cash already

January 20, 2021 at 3:47 pmYikes, I’m not sure how to fix that. It depends on how loud that hmm is. This may be of help: https://www.gikacoustics.com/product/pib-portable-isolation-vocal-booth/ or this but this is really about room noise not a nasty hum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOhdKdpsetE

January 29, 2021 at 4:33 pmNice job guys! Good sound isn’t easy. You both have “audio ears” and have explained the “theory” in practical terms very well.
Many others just don’t have your ears. If you can’t hear the problem or recognize it, you’re in trouble when it comes to fixing it.

January 29, 2021 at 4:40 pmHere are some more ideas. I wrote these up a while back, but some may be helpful. It’s written about edit suites, but also includes sound pointers. Hopefully some of this will be helpful.
