Hey what’s up guys! Is it cool if you can hook me up with some advice? As a creative based in LA, I love doing motion graphics and VFX to help other people see the power in their own ideas and have been doing it since Covid. I am looking forward to building my skillset. I do have some concerns though. I am still saving up to afford a new laptop that would hold a good amount of RAM. So I’m just using what I already have which is a 2021 Dell Inspiron. Despite being still able to do some of the work, I am struggling rendering on After Effects and Blender no matter what I delete. I recently finished a Blender online masterclass and instead of rendering the finished product, I had to take a screenshot instead. As a creative, what limited resources did you have and what motivated you to keep going?
