advantages/disdvantages of AVCHD camera in FCP
Sony has announced the HXR-NX5U NXCAM Professional Camcorder which records using AVCHD format. I’m very interested in this camera. What problems can you foresee in FCP and Compressor? I’m not a video expert my background is photography. My goal would be to produce DVDs, Blu-ray dics and embedded video using Vimeo.

I just got one but have not had time to play with it yet.
if its anything like the canon vixia line for log and transfer it should be awesome.
(that would be transcoding to prores when doing log/transfer)
