Advantages of Pro Res 422 over importing through Imovie
just curious about what the differences are and what the advantages may be from importing through apple pro res 422 or Imovie.

Vastly superior quality. Accurate timecode. iMovie use the Apple Intermediate Codec, which is not nearly as clean as ProRes, and does not retain timecode.
