Advanced Keyframing displeasure
I have issues with Boris Continuum Complete’s Advanced Keyframing (newest in Avid Media Composer software) and find it overly complex. I found that with the “ordinary” keyframing it was easier to get the effects I wanted.
The “copy”(Ctrl+C) and “paste” (Ctrl+V) keyframe function does not seem to work! This is a major flaw. Is there any way to reset out of Advanced Keyframing? Also posted on Avid Editing forum as a response.

Hi Mark,
Well the Advanced Keyframing is not something that we developed, but rather a function of the Avid AVX 2.0 API and therefore not something that we can control. The only way around the Advanced Keyframe option is to use the AVX 1.5 version of the product.

Is the Copy and Paste Keyframe issue (it doesn’t work), also Avid’s problem?

I don’t know the answer to that.
I’m like you. I re-installed the AVX1.5 – it works best for me. I also have the AVX2 installed – both showup in the Effects Palette. I’ll leave the AVX2 advanced keyframing for when I have a true need for it.
