Adrenaline MC compatibility
Hi,
I’m going to be editing on an Adrenaline, the project will be at 24p.
The first week of the edit we won’t have our system yet, so I was thinking of using the Media Composer 3.1 I have on my laptop. I’m just going to be sub-clipping, re-organizing bins, etc.
Once we move onto the adrenaline, am I going to be able to just move the project? Are there any compatibility issues?

The Adrenaline is just the I/O box. What version of Media Composer will be running with the Adrenaline attached? If it’s the same version as you have on your laptop, just transfer the project.
If it’s a newer or older version of MC than your laptop, I’d suggest making a new project on the Adrenaline machine with the exact same name as the laptop project. Then, at the desktop level (I’d suggest doing this with Avid closed, too), transfer the bins from the laptop project to the Adrenaline project. Open Avid, edit.

I’m using MC 3.1, not sure what version of Adrenaline, but will find out.
