adrenaline fun
Posted by Grinner Hester on October 20, 2006 at 2:01 pmHas anybody found a work around to adrenaline sometimes not wanting to render effects, other than recreating new user settings?

October 20, 2006 at 3:53 pmWhat version are you using? Haven’t had any problems like it not rendering effects, have you tried making a submaster and rendering that?

October 20, 2006 at 4:27 pmThe few times I’ve seen this it’s cured by restarting the app… then magically the troubled section is rendered. Unfortunately it sounds like you may end up mixing down some tracks.

October 20, 2006 at 6:58 pmit’s happened on every version I have been on.
Havn’t tried submasters but will.
I am freelancing on somone elses box today, v 2.1.8. I don’t have the problem on mine but about every five minutes or so, the mouse still working, I can click on nothing in Avid. No keyboard strokes either. I minimize then bring it back up and can work for another five minutes or so.
While I do miss my old symphony, I am now starting to miss my ole $10k Premiere box from 1999.

October 21, 2006 at 11:51 amGrin, I always feel terrible when I read about your experiences with the Adrenaline, mine’s like a clydesdale. Right now I’ve got over an hour of HD in timelines, mixed with SD, DV and graphics, nary a problem. Got mine from Midwest too, but out of Detroit.
The only thing that pops to mine is that perhaps your uses settings are messed up. I had a crashing problem quite a long time ago, called tech and they suggested trashing the settings and starting over.
So strange how differently the same systems seem to perform.

October 23, 2006 at 5:03 amI sometimes re do the effect starting from scratch, as in select the footage in the source monitor and picking a different frame one frame forward or back and splcing it into the time line etc.
I also have had some luch by selecting the effected clips with the red arrow and selecting render selection.
Sometimes it works sometimes not.
