Adrenaline Capture Tool problems…
Hi
We’re having two capture-related problems with Adrenaline. Has anyone else been having these problems?
1) When inserting a new tape in Capture mode, sometimes it does not detect the new tape. Closing and reopening the Capture Tool forces the detection of the tape. (New problem since upgrade to 2.1.5).
2) When logging clips by playing a tape and hitting the In and Out buttons, it sometimes does not display the In and Out point until you click Capture or Pause or click some other part of the capture window. (Problem occurred in 1.6 and still occurring in 2.1.5).
Any comments would be much appreciated!

Hi Robert,
While I can’t offer you any help, I can tell you I’ve seen both of the behaviors you describe on our MCA 1.6 systems. The capture tool on Adrenaline just seems very flaky to me.

I’ve noticed it before on Meridian based systems too. Especially our Xpress box would do the non-updating IO numbers. I think one of the Symphony versions may have even done this a bit, but the problem must have been corrected because it works properly now.
