Adobe Production Suite + Final Cut Suite
I was wondering if anyone out in CC has both the production suite and FCS2, I am a big fan of FCS for editing, and have used it for 4 years now, I have Automatic Duck to get edits from their to AE which is a great tool, and I recommend it to anyone. My problem is with the rendering with AE, and wishing their was a quicker way to watch what I do, so I’m considering getting the Adobe Production CS4 to enhance that problem, and for the mastering, and I guess Blu-Ray mastering since Apple hasn’t adapted that.
So the big question is, should I fork out the dough for the Production Suite solely for the feature of being able to watch what I compose in AE in near Realtime? Or does it not make a big difference?

Adobe told me that, I was just watching their promo piece and it was talking about Dynamic Linking and how you can send something from After Effects to Premiere and it updates instantly, but I guess you still have to go through and render it out?
See I know this same sentiment is across the CC board, but it’s really hard to work with AE with clients without being able to quickly show them what I am doing, and I was hoping that sending it to Premiere would help that problem… But I take it, it really doesn’t do that?

Daniel: What the Dynamic Link feature in Production Premium helps you avoid is the need for intermediate rendering. In other words, you don’t have to render a video file to go from your compositing/motion graphics application to your editing application. Better than that, you can change something in one of the applications (say, After Effects) and see the results immediately updated in Premiere Pro (or Encore, etc). You don’t even need to save the file, because the Comp is… dynamically linked 🙂 You would still need to render the segment in the host application’s timeline for full frame rate playback or mastering.
It’s about an efficient workflow for creative exploration. But it doesn’t multiply your CPU power 🙂Adolfo Rozenfeld · Adobe

I see, so if I want to work quickly and get something off to a client, or even with a client in the room, is their really no other solution but to render it out whether it be in AE or Premiere. Of those two, are either faster for client preview or is their nor real difference?
