    Hello Everyone…

I’m currently using Adobe Premiere Pro v.7 and I’ve just recently started having problems with Video Capture.

Every time I try to log a video clip, APP freezes and it takes roughly 20 or so minutes for the clip to be logged. Even after I log the clip, it takes an additional 20 minutes or so to close the video capture window and move the clip to the appropriate bin.

I have already tried defragmenting the disk where all my clips are stored and updated my video drives, the problem still exists.

I’m using a Panasonic mini-dv PGVS300. Please keep in mind that I’m a newbie and not necessarily a technical person but I’m learning.

If anyone can help me or offer any suggestions, I’d very much appreciate it. Below is the list of my computer specs. If you need any more information, please do not hesitate to ask.

    Computer: 21SG5
    Shuttle XPC
    Latest Chipset and audio drivers
    Onboard Video (no video card)
    2GB RAM
    Athlon 64-3200
    11GB free (2Ghz (CPU)
    70 GB FREE (Scratch disks)

    bump…

does anyone have any ideas about this problem.

The only thing I can think of is that I’ve recently had updates for Logitech Video Cam which may have run some interference.

    All suggestions would be appreciated.
