Adobe premiere pro softlock??

Does your program monitor go black? Or does it just freeze on a frame?

Also, what are you on? Mac/PC? And a few system specs might be helpful. RAM, Drives, Media storage – how full are they?

Here are the specs of my pc, I am running a custom built pc with windows 10 home. My monitor doesnt go black, the program just locks up. Everything else on my pc works fine when this happens, just premiere pro locked.

LOL! Tell you what, make sure your drives have at least 10% of available space – system drive, media drive, and cache drives. Clear out all your Adobe Cache files – open PPro, not a project, then go to your prefs, media, delete all cache files. And trash your PPro preferences – https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-premiere-pro/td-p/8236158?page=1
