Hi guys! I’d appreciate some help here. I’ve got some CANON 7D footage.

When I import it to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, something strange happens. It looks like it needs some contrast.

The thing is that when I open it with Media Player Classic, it looks darker, with some contrast. It also happens when I open it with Windows Media Player.
However, If I open the video with VLC, It looks just like Premiere’s Preview…

Finally, when I export it with Premiere, it looks brighter than the original footage, even if I export with best quality options, and without changing any parameter…

Does someone know what’s going on?

In the cases where it looks darker, you’re bypassing QuickTime I would assume.

QuickTime has an old, old…apparently never to be fixed gamma interpretation bug for H264.
