I am getting an error from Premiere Pro, but am not sure why or what it is in reference to (see screen shot below).

It started happening yesterday when we made a change to our Creative Cloud account. Seems to affect only the iMac (mid-2011), not the Macbook Pro (early 2013) that we use. Would having GPU acceleration turned on or off make a difference? It has been turned on, testing with it off now.

We needed to be able to use CC on a third machine, so we tried to add a second CC license to our primary account. That didn’t work, so we canceled the second license and made a second, unique, CC account (new email address, etc) that will be used for the third machine. All three computers are connected to a server and RAID array. After the account changes, when opening Premiere on the iMac, we had to sign the user agreement again.

Now, the iMac has been having all the issues, but we haven’t gotten any errors on the Macbook Pro.

Adobe CC has been so finicky recently that any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Katy,
Have you updated the drivers for your video card? That solves the issue most of the time.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Thanks for the suggestion, Kevin. We are working on a Mac with Mountain Lion, so the video card driver updates with the OS (as is my understanding), which we keep up to date. After we turned off GPU acceleration on the iMac we have not experienced any issues. We’ll turn it back on at some point to see if the issue arises again. Maybe it could be the specific footage we’re working with that is giving us the problem.

Sorry for your troubles. Would you mind sending me your project that crashes with the offline media files included? Also detailed steps leading up to the crash.

You can send it via dropbox or something of the sort.

I have had nothing but a buggy and crashy CC since March – I don’t know what update killed it – but I have my Nvidia GeForce Experience with the most updated drivers – I’m using the CUDA acceleration on the GeForce GTX 670M – (it worked for 9months without a hitch in CS6)

    Here’s the error message:
