Adobe Premiere Pro and Handbrake Problems
I’m using a program called Handbrake to get footage off of DVDs and it works well, but when I try to import the file in Adobe Premiere Pro, it reads the file as having 90000 fps! I’m encoding my files in the H.264 format in Handbrake. When I encode the files as MPEG-4 ffmpeg, the footage is read correctly in Adobe Premiere Pro. I discovered that the problem is with Handbrake itself. I’ve tried uninstalling it and deleting the registry values, but that didn’t work. I’ve tried deleting the AppData folders in Windows 7, but that didn’t work either. I did find a workaround by reencoding the files in Avidemux, but I want to make sure it directly encodes in Handbrake so that when I import the Handbrake encoded footage into Adobe Premiere Pro, the file has the correct framerate so that not only will not be so super short, but have the audio attached to it as well.
