I’m currently editing on PP 1.5 and have not had any problems until recently. When I try to open any of my projects I get a message:

Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project.

However, on the occasion that one of my projects does open and I open the capture window or press F5 my computer automatically reboots.

I’m at a lost and I’m on a deadline. If anyone knows what could be happening I would really appreciate the help.

I think you should try to uninstall PPro and reinstall it.

There are simply times when an application goes bad.

    …like milk.

That would be my first approach.
