  • Adobe Premiere / Media Encoder Freezing when exporting H.264 & others? “Clock Error”?

Hey all. Everything was working fine on my Adobe software for a good while, then all of the sudden every time i would use media encoder to export a timeline as say an H.264, which I often do for the Web, it would freeze up some time during the export. Sometimes 5% in, others like 70% in. but it would never finish on a timeline longer than say 3 minutes. When I export using the same settings as the timeline it exports fine, but then again I get huge files in return.

One thing that does happen is that when I select H.264 in the export tool I get this warning…

“Your clock is set to a date that is inconsistent with the release date of Surcode for Dolby Digital.
Press “Cancel” to exit Surcode for Dolby Digital and adjust your clock setting.
Press “ok” to ignore this warning and continue”

After much research I have found nothing that points me to a place to help fix this issue, and think this issue may be part of the reason why my Exports are always crashing my system. anyone have any ideas?
