Adobe Premiere instability
Hello
I run Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 on a Win 10 platform. I use an Alienware laptop with 16GB RAM and 750GB HD.My issue is that after a dozen or so renderings of the same project, there comes a time when the environment becomes unstable and certain functions like linking media will timeout the app and I have to kill through task manager.
The one thing that works is to uninstall premiere then reinstall it. No fun at all but it gives me life to continue my editing for a few days more.
1. Am I alone in this?
2. Is there a fix?
3. If not, is there a way I can delete some registry entries that would allow the illusion of having reinstalled it? I’m pretty sure the app itself isn’t being modified but rather the registry. As I write this, I’m thinking that if I know which registries are affected, I could do one more uninstall/install cycle and make a backup copy of these, and then next time I can simply restore them.
Thanks
Daniel
