I imported a Mpeg file into Premiere. Everything looks ok, accept the audio did not match up with the video. I played it in After Effects to see if it was just Premiere, but the audio was not matching up in After Effects either. So i checked it in Windows Media Player, and the audio matched up perfectly.

Any help solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Eddie,

the only problem is, is that i have been working with MPEG, for about 7 months now, but just now this is the very first clip that has ever done this, infact it used to work, but all of a sudden it doesn’t.

    That is indeed strange.

If you create a new project can you successfully import and use one of the problem MPEG files?

    Cheers
