  • Adobe Premiere crashing while trying to export in 1080p

Posted by Marley Bishop on November 3, 2010 at 1:21 am

Adobe Premiere keeps giving me an “Adobe Premiere Pro.exe has stopped working” error message at around 77% or trying to export a video in 1080p on the H.264 “HDTV 1080 29.97” preset.

I have exported another video just fine in 1080 with the same preset, although that video was only 45 seconds long, and this video is 3 minutes.

Have you installed the Premiere Pro CS5 (5.0.2) update? That update fixes a lot of problems.

Have you installed the Premiere Pro CS4 4 update (Windows: https://bit.ly/acvy3V Mac: https://bit.ly/bE4l3f)? That update fixes a lot of problems.

I just installed the update and it did nothing. It’s still crashing at around 76-85% of the first pass every time.

If it is crashing at the same point all the time you may have a corrupted area in the video.

I don’t think so as the work area renders and plays back without any problems, and I made sure all of my assets were in their proper places.
