I’m running 10.11.5, however I found that 10.11.3 was more stable. I’m getting freezes in 10.11.5, though they are system freezes and have nothing to do with Premiere.

Just wait… 😉

btw, you’ll see at least some improvement if you empty your cache from AE (the other apps as far as I know don’t have that option in Preferences). It loads up REALLY fast, and you’ll have like 252 meg or more just sitting there taking up space and slowing things down.
