Looking at the error code, it appears as if the error is related to the Maxtor card and not Premiere. Call Maxtor and see if they can help you.

Its not just you…. I also get this same message whenever I open one program that uses the RTX100, close that program, then open another. For instance, if I use the RTX with AE, close AE and open PPro, I get the message. I have to shut down between using the different programs if I want to see them display on my NTSC monitor.

Shouldn’t be that way, but it is on my Dell8400 with 3.4ghz and WinXP Pro. My guess is that Matrox is not releasing something when the program closes

Hello All..

For the record, the Matrox RTx100 card is designed
to work with legal copies of ADOBE PREMIERE PRO v1 & v1.5 ONLY.

The Matrox RTx100 will NOT work Premiere V6.5 or lower.

If you had the simple read-me notes, you would know this..

That statement is misleading.

I have personaly used the RT.X100 with Premiere 6.5 during more than a year and thousands of users are still using it.

Have a look at this Matrox link that leads to the downloading of the drivers required by Premiere 6.5 (that is ver. 4263)

Note that Premiere Pro 1.0 and 1.5 each require their own version of the drivers, ver. 5078 and 6122 respectively.
