I have been trying to find help for this editing software online but no luck as yet.

i am trying to edit HD video (extension .m2ts) on premiere 6.5 but it doesn’t seem to work. or is there a way to ‘downgrade’ the footage
to SD to enable it to work? tried various converting programs but can’t afford to buy a full version.

i need this for a pilot episode for a tv show i have filmed and need to get editing ASAP.

    Can anyone help me?

6.5 was 2001 and just able to edit DV. Suggest Premiere Elements 8 for about $79.

There is a free program called Any Video Converter that will do what you want.

    Just Google it.
