Adobe Premier Pro Transitions Not Rendering
Posted by Tim Kline on June 10, 2020 at 3:49 pmI am currently working on the newest version of Adobe Premier Pro which is 14.2. None of my intro transitions will render. I have tried doing higher mb/per second all the way to 100/mb on the h.264 render setting. I set everything at max also. And it pixelates at the intro. Anyone else find a solution for this?
Tim:)

June 11, 2020 at 10:02 amThis is just my humble opinion.
We are all beta testers for Adobe now. I choose to stay at least one full version back. (Even more now, since we need our systems replaced.) When we upgrade, Adobe has moved on to the next versions, where we all help work out the bugs.
I’d rather just edit.
This is just me. Not everyone does the same thing.
System:
Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
Win 7 64-bit
32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF. -

June 11, 2020 at 10:22 pmDip To black is usually the culprit. It will pixelate the whole picture in about 3 seconds and then it just clears up. The rest of the transtions are always good.

June 12, 2020 at 2:20 pmSo, just so I got this straight, you are talking about an export render to h.264 mp4 file, correct? Couple of things. Are you turning on the “Use Maximum Render Quality”? Unless you are scaling your sequence, I wouldn’t worry about having that on. And have you tried changing the renderer in AME to Software Only? If you’re using AME, there’s a drop down below your Queue. Sometimes that can clear up render issues for some reason.

June 17, 2020 at 9:39 pmDon’t do maximum everything. Turn off “Use Maximum Render Quality”. Use 2 pass VBR.

June 19, 2020 at 8:00 pmDip to black is best used as a double sided transition.
If you want to use as a single sided transition use cross dissolve instead.
Turn of Composite in Linear color in the sequence settings.———————————————–
