Everytime I try and download and operate the Adobe photoshop trial it won’t work. It’s the CS4 verion and I download the English/Windows 815. 5 MB version. It takes about ten/fifteen minutes to download and then I click ‘launch’ once it’s 100% complete. A grey adobe window opens and it says ‘the file could not be installed because it is corrupt or is not supported.’

It’s something along those lines, anyway.

Why would this be? I’ve noticed the same thing happens when I try and download other Adobe products. I’ve tried leaving it for ages, but it just never works. I am on Windows Vista 2009. What is the reason for this, the file isn’t corrupted obviously, becasue it’s from the adobe site. Could I be missing vital updates?

Could it be something with your firewall settings?
Do you see a yellow bar on top of your screen when you try to download Ohotoshop?
