Adobe or Sony Vegas
Hi,
I’m new to DVD editing but I’m quite techincally minded, so I’m not put off by learning.
I’ve used Adobe Pro and Encore, which I found quite good, but a friend uses Sony Vegas and DVDA.
My copy(legal copy) is quite old and I have seen Vegas being sold for £90 in the UK.
Question which is the best to use and shortest to learn?I would appreciate your views.

Well it depends what you are going to be doing.
DVDA might have fewer bugs, and work better for a real simple menu and quickly slapping your dvd together, however Encore is much better for doing custom menus, transitions, scene selection menus, etc. Also, Encore’s integration with After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop is extremely beneficial.

The tutorial was created for our Pro Motion Menu Kit products, however it is a valuable learning tool for anyone.
