  • Adobe Media Encoder – TIFF LZW Compression possible?

    Hi!

Maybe this is a stupid question – but when I tried to export a .tif sequence with the Adobe Media Encoder (from a .mts file in PremierePro CS5), there was no option to set “LZW” compression – since it was 4000 frames of 8,3MB Full-HD .tif image files, my 500MB .mts file suddenly went to 32+something Gigabytes as still frames.

I looked in Media Encoder (CS5) and could not find any way to turn lossless compression on. Is it hidden somewhere? Or is .png the better option for image sequences in this case?

    Thanks.
    Joe

I’m having this same need for some time. (now in CC 2014)

If you ever find a way to edit the .epr to enable LZW compression in AME let me know. I’ll owe you a huge favor.
