    hi,

i filmed a wedding a couple of days ago. i used a Canon eos rebel t2i & a canon hv40. i edited the two different types of footage just fine in a dslr 1080p24 premiere pro project. to be specific 1920X1080 progressive 24fps etc. when i was done editing i closed premiere pro so i could render it out to mpeg-dvd. i did not add any effects only transitions. i added the premier sequence to adobe media encoder que and now the time remaining indicator shows that the estimated time remaining is 24 hours. is this normal? should i just stik it out? or is there a faster way? my pc has an amd quadcore 2.8ghz & 8gb ram.

    That doesn’t seem unusual.

wow is this really normal? i used to render out 3 hours of footage without any effects applied to it in a half hour. but then again that was standard defenition footage. is there really no faster way? and what if i dont like the outcome i wil have to render again. aw man this rendering stuff is a drag.
