We use Matrox. We choose Matrox Media Encoder when we export but I wanted to ask what the difference is between the Adobe Media Encoder and Matrox Media Encoder? The exact same export window opens with all the exact settings.

Is it just faster to do it with the Matrox? Or is there a difference in quality of the exported file?

    Thank you

Why don’t you just export the same file from both, time each and inspect the quality, and see if there is a difference.

The MME uses the same interface and codecs as the AME but does some hardware assist. It SHOULD be faster but YMMV.
