I just tried using Adobe Media Encoder for the first time yesterday on a Mac to generate some Flash files. My filters tab only has Gaussian Blur listed. Is this correct? Are there plug-ins or some other way to get other filters? Some of my clips are coming out dark and it would sure be great to have a brightness and contrast adjustment.

    Thanks,

    That’s all you get.

If you need more you’ll need another tool.

I’m having the exact same issue. I really like AME for a few things and it seems a whole lot faster than Compressor for h.264 stuff – but images are dark and flat.
