    Hi Guys,

I received a source file from my client that required me to overlay new powerpoint exported PNGs onto the old ones…used AE CS5 with no problems there.

After a few days I am finally ready to render out the video, but this has raised a few problems.

Here are the source files’ properties.
    Name:FM DVD 11_1_0001.avi
    Duration:01:35:52
    Resolution:720 x 540
    Bit Rate:2998 kbps
    Frame Rate:29.97
    Sample Rate:48000 kbps
    Bit Rate:128 kbps
    Channel:2 Channel Stereo

Ok, so I fire up Adobe Media Encoder and select the “Uncompressed Microsoft AVI” option.

I did a test render matching the above original file specs (about 25 seconds) and the file got to 40GB in size!

Did I miss something out here?
I ensured that ALL the above properties were matched, yet somehow the output file was huge.

It is rather late (1:16am here) and I’m probably missing something but any advice would be appreciated.

Also, the source file was 720×540, should I just manually unlink and change the dimensions in Adobe Media Encoder?

    Thanks tons guys!
    Paul.
