I’m having this wierd problem using Encoder 2.0. I change all of the settings under Custom, and then output the project and my settings are ignored. Am I missing something basic, or is there a bug? (I started using Encoder because when I output from Premiere 2.0 I always got an error message at the end of the process).

I am not familiar with Encoder 2.0. Is that a separate application or are you referring to the Adobe Media Encoder?

Sorry, I meant that I have Premier Pro 2.0 – and the Encoder that comes along with it.

    Lee,
Thanks for your response. A couple more questions:
    1) What are your output settings?
    2) What file format?
    3) What settings are you modifying?

    THanks,
    Aanarav

I solved the problem my problem by exporting the project to AE and rendering it there.

I was trying to render the file as either an uncompressed or using the Animation codec Quicktime file at 740×480, 29.97 fps. I also tried some other versions, but no matter what I did it seemed to ignore my settings and go to one of the streaming presets.
