    Hey folks!

So I’ve run into an issue on a current project for a client, and of course, Adobe Technical Support for Premiere Pro is not available on weekends.

    My issue is this:

I have a number of .mp4 files which I’ve been importing into Premiere Pro to finalize and combine with our audio mix, etc. However, I discovered that when I import these files, Premiere is cutting off the first few frames of each video file for some reason. Normally, this wouldn’t be an issue, except that the beginning of the video is an intro animation that has to start a specific way.

When I import the files into Premiere as PNG sequences, they import correctly.

Has anyone had an issue with this before? What do I do to fix it?
