Adobe Illustrator and Motion
I know there are answer on the internet for this, but none of them are terribly current. I was wondering if anyone knew if the current Motion works with multi-layer .ai files. I would test it myself but I don’t have AI and I’m not sure I want to buy it… So, if anyone has some feedback on this, I would appreciate it.

You can not work with the individual layers in a multi layered AI file in Motion. You can do it in AE. To work with multi layers you need to convert the AI to a PSD. Hope this helps and best of luck.

That’s what I was afraid of… When is this new version of Motion coming out anyway? Hopefully they’ve fixed this.
