I removed the main .*mov file from my computer and wanted to replace it on Encore with another one. But when the program opens, I get a window that says “locate asset”, and nothing on that window is clickable nor can I “cancel”, “skip” or do anything.

You replace the asset from within Encore. Try putting it back (!); then select it and use “replace asset.” Be sure the new file is not named the same.

With it already deleted, I don’t know if you can get it to work.

The first file is gone. I can’t add another asset or open the program. The window isn’t clickable, cancelable, very odd.

OK, I just figured it out. Instead of double-clicking the project file, I rather started the Encore first and then clicked on the project name. In this case the locate the asset window became clickable.
