Might just be the trial version – BUT – big bug if it ain’t (trial should work….?!)
Linking a button to a timeline makes the Text of that button into the text name of the timeline. Bit silly if you’re fairly vigilant & have different names to identify a timeline to what the end user will see on a button

The feature is called “Sync Button Text and Name”. You can turn it off for each button in the Properties panel. There is not a way yet to turn it off by default.
