Adobe Dynamic Link Not Working!

I had a similar issue. My dynamic link was transfering the video from premiere into the after effects timeline, but after I upgraded to cc2015 for both Pp and AE, they link would not get recognized.

Easy fix: I opened both Pp & AE CC 2015, then added a dummy layer into AE, like a solid green color. Saved the AE file, switched over to Pp and VOILA! It seems that you need to save so that this “REFRESHES” the link.

All my dynamic linked comps are now showing up!

It would seem that this is in fact a problem with the link not recognizing data carried from older versions. To explain: IF you started with an older version of Premiere and AE, even the first CC version, and updated to a later one mid project, before or after creating a dynamic link to AE or other apps, something with the link engine is trying to interpret it as if an older project file and not a newer one. Open your saved AE project files, save them and close. Now go to Premiere and unlink them, then relink them (like any other clip). They will relink and update the version of AE being used. If that doesn’t fix it, try dropping the clip from premiere project panel or sequence to AE while AE is open, then save the comp, import to PPro and “Replace from BIN”.

Thank you! This worked for me. Just add any additional item to the comp in AE like a shape layer or text or adjustment layer and move it to the bottom of the stack. The comp will then update correctly in Premiere.

I have same issue, “Replace with After Effects Composition.” in not working and theres no clips transfer to my after effect.
