  Adobe Director 12 Mac – important – checkbox/playback head bug workaround

  Hi,

  There’s a bug in Adobe Director 12 Mac that I found a workaround for. It keeps people from using Director. The bug is when you have triggered the checkbox in the orange “open recent” intro screen to be checked. At that point the playback head doesn’t work in the score. If the checkbox there has been checked or you have triggered the bug somehow, then all you need to do is the following:

  1) open Director 12
  2) click once on the checked checkbox in the “open recent” intro screen
  3) quit director
  4) restart your computer
  5) open Director again and it should work
