After stopping a capture a pop up appears which should allow a file name to be entered but typing anything in the file name box and pressing OK a pop up shows saying can not rename, “keep original” and then pressing OK starts a loop beetween the pop up an OK the only way out is to cancel and this looses the capture.
    Thank you in advance William.

    That’s a bug.
    Name clip before capturing.
If the window pops up after capture, hit OK.
If it has the wrong name, change that in the Bridge or Windows Explorer.

Hello Ann,Thank you very much for your very quick response,I live in the southwest tip of England quite remote. Its imposible to find someone with the same interest in video editing to be able talk over problems. I found this site just by accident, so will be keeping it in the favorites bin.
    Regards William.
PS where do I find the meaning of the various symbols on this site eg,thegreen tick, bulb, flag etc.
