From the article: Adobe has decided to focus its resources on Creative Cloud and will not continue development on its Creative Suite software, reports The Next Web. While Creative Suite 6 will continue to be supported in regards to bug fixes, there will be no further updates and no Creative Suite 7.

May 6, 2013 at 8:00 pmTwo beautiful reasons to love the new Creative Cloud platform from today’s announcements:
• You can now share work and get feedback from your community throughout the creative process—including posting work in progress directly to Behance from right within Photoshop
• A new Creative Cloud desktop app to manage install and manage your desktop software, manage your files, get feedback on your projects on Behance, and keep track of just about everything in your creative universe—all in a single activity stream
The second one especially should help with activate / deactivate of various software.
