Adobe CC Suite on New Mac Pro
I’m thinking of moving from my HP820 Win7 workstation to a new MacPro. Since I’m a subscriber to the Adobe CC, software won’t be a problem. But my question is hardware-related.
Right now, my HP820 station has a Blackmagic Decklink 4K Extreme card, which we use for the (rare) ingestion of tape-based material, and for outputting (via HDMI) to my HD edit monitor.
Of course, this Decklink card won’t be making the transition, but my question is the HDMI out on the back of the MacPro.
Will Premiere and AE utilize this HDMI out to put my edits on my HD monitor, just like the Decklink card does now? If not, is there a Thunderbolt accessory that will do the job that my Decklink card does now?
